How to create a User Group
Important Step in launching a campaign
Before you can launch an assessment, you’ll need to set up a User Group.
- Click the User icon in the left-hand menu.
- At the top of the page, you’ll see several options. On the right-hand side, select User Group.
- Click User Group to create a new group.
What is a User Group?
A User Group is linked to an assessment and controls access for respondents. It’s the group that participants are assigned to when completing the MRI Benchmark survey.
Naming the User Group
When creating your group: (you can choose you own name for the group)
- Name: All Employees (example)
- Description: All Employees (example)
This keeps things simple and makes it easy to identify the group later.
Link the Group to an Assessment
Further down the page, you’ll be asked to link the User Group to a linked form. You will see two options:
- MRI Benchmark (N) – Participants begin by entering their name (Name required)
- MRI Benchmark (A) – Anonymous version (No name required)
✅ Important: Even when names are collected, all results are combined into one overall report and reported anonymously. Individual responses are never shown on their own.
